Some thoughts on Posting

May suggested an addition to the FAQs or just food for thought:

1.)When you read the list, try to adopt a "Live and let live" or
maybe "Box and Let other Box" -- if others are not hurting you or
endangering boxes, leave them alone. (Really, why do you care?)

2) Before you post, re-read to see whether your post has the sort of
tone you'd like if it were directed to you. [The old Golden Rule] If
you are disagreeing, wait 10 minutes and then re-read it again, as
well as the original email to see (a) whether you understood the
original post properly and (2) if your response is really necessary.

Just my opinion, but following these 2 could dampen the flames on
this list quite a bit.
